About This Camp

Nike US Sports Camps This tennis camp will cover all aspects of the game using the latest tennis techniques, tactics and strategies through on-court instruction, competitive drills and match play. We offer both full day and half-day programs. The full day program runs Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm and is open to players age 11-16 and will cover footwork/speed drills, stroke technique and serve and volley drills, along with group games, match play and contests to win fun Nike prizes. Participants will be evaluated and grouped by skill. We will offer afternoon swimming at the end of each day. The half-day morning program runs is open to players ages 9-16, offered Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. It will focus on stroke technique using fun games and drills.
 
Open to domestic and international students ages 9-16. Overnight camper must be at least 10 years old.

Robert Jessen is the Director of Tennis at San Domenico School. Coach Jessen has more than 20 years experience of coaching and teaching. He has served as a USTA area training center coach and has coached the USTA national boys’ 12 zone teams in Arizona. Coach Jessen’s passion and dedication for the game of tennis has helped many players of all levels reach their fullest potential. Jessen was born and raised in Kentfield, California, and began playing tennis at the age of six. As a Junior, Coach Jessen played on many teams and in many matches, then went on to play tennis for the Menlo College tennis team in both singles and doubles. He enjoys working with juniors and adults who also share a passion for tennis. Jessen teaches privates, junior clinics, high school workouts and coaches men's and women’s teams.
