This creative writing workshop is designed for upper school students 12-18. The purpose of the workshop is to develop writing skills specifically about sharing personal stories with an emphasis on memoir writing. The focus of the week is to open up, look at and write about defining moments and what factors shape each of us as individuals. A benefit of this workshop is that students will leave with concrete written pieces that can be the foundations for students’ personal statements and college application essays.
