Learn where your passions can take you.


At San Domenico, we encourage our students to discover and explore their passions, so that they may grow into their true selves. For students in grades 6-12, this includes PERKs (Passion, Engagement, Reflection, and Knowledge) — a 60-minute block of time integrated into the school day every week, giving students the opportunity to dig deeper and discover new interests.

Not to be confused with Middle School electives or Upper School course offerings—including theatre, art, music, dance, athletics, and more—our PERKs programming is separately designed for student interests that are not otherwise represented in the official SD curriculum.

From a micro-course in hip-hop to cooking lessons, rock band, and yoga, our PERK offerings are as varied as our students’ passions. Specific PERKs vary based on student interest. Recent offerings have included:

Student Clubs

Upper School student clubs meet during lunch and sometimes after school.

They provide yet another opportunity for connection, intellectual exploration, creativity, social impact, and fun.
