Middle School Student Life
+ Stretch, grow, and find your place!
Middle School at San Domenico provides a creative community environment to learn and grow for nearly 200 students in Grades 6-8. At SD, students are encouraged to ask the hard questions and find their best selves all while enjoying a robust program with sports, arts, spirit days, morning meetings, and hands-on learning on our 515-acre campus. Inspiring teachers and mentors help students in the classroom, in co-curriculars, and in service learning projects to realize their potential as stewards of positive change in their community and in the world
Spirit
Panthers fans are extremely passionate about our school, our teams, and our community events.
Dining
San Domenico offers a variety of menu options as well as soup and a daily deli and salad bar.
Outings
Continuing our theme of pilgrimage, at San Domenico the back to school season also means students participate in outings.
Sports
San Domenico's athletics program offers both recreational and competitive opportunity across a wide range of sports.
Service
Our values demand congruence between what is inside our minds and what we cultivate in our world. Through service, we deepen our connection to our community.
Bus & Transportation
Riding the bus is a benefit available to all students at all grade levels and is included in the yearly tuition.
Electives
At San Domenico classes often resemble a college seminar: students and teacher grappling with ideas, sparking new insights, caught up in the give and take of reasoned arguments.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
In an age of global community, San Domenico is committed to promoting respect for all forms of diversity and teaching our students how to be advocates for social justice. The School seeks to expand K-12 student understanding of the guiding principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
