COVID-19 Community Updates
As the COVID-19 pandemic is quickly evolving, we thank you in advance for your patience if any of the information on this or related-pages is out of date. Despite our best efforts to keep up, the health, safety, and meaningful distance learning experience of our students is always our highest priority and therefor supersedes web updates. That said, we hope this page and our Distance Learning, Calming Corner: Distance Learning Resources, and Student Support pages are of help for you during this uncharted time.
San Domenico's protocol is informed by the direction of Marin Public Health, as well as the Marin County Office of Education, California Governor Gavin Newsom, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
San Domenico moved to our Distance Learning Plan on Tuesday, March 17.
At SD, our mission includes a commitment to recognize what it means to be human in a global community and respond with integrity to the needs of the times. These are unprecedented times.
Since 1850, San Domenico's values of Study, Reflection, Community, and Service inform our decision making process and program. We carry on a legacy as California's first independent school, providing consistent, purpose-driven, and innovative education. Our School survived the 1918 and 1957 pandemics. Together, we will not only survive this time, but thrive.
