WEEKLY ATHLETICS UPDATE
The San Domenico Men's Varsity Basketball Team won the consolation championship of the Drake High 'Red Brown' Classic Saturday night, with a tremendous win over the host Pirates 52-40. The score was not indicative of the dominance of the red hot Panthers, who led by 15 at halftime and by over 20 late in the game. Cash Fulton and Grey Snyder led the team with 15 and 14 points respectively, and the whole team played stellar defense. The win over a school (Drake) with a longtime history of success in Marin, coupled with the 72-54 rout of Terra Linda High Friday night, has propelled the team straight onto the area's basketball landscape in only it's second year as a varsity team. Well done Coach Mike Fulton and the SD student athletes! The team is 3-5 overall while playing in the best tournaments and games Coach Fulton and his staff can find, in order to prepare for BCL West League play.

The players dropped a non-league game at highly rated Sonoma Academy, before getting in a good scrimmage workout with the Drake JV. It was a special day for both Fiona, and her father Aidan O'Sullivan, the longtime coach of the Drake JV's. The Panther's have dropped two games in league play in the extremely strong BCL West, including a 3-0 loss vs. Lick Wilmerding and a 4-0 loss to East Bay Power St. Joe's.
