Each year San Domenico gets an extra boost of color as we celebrate the Hindu festival of Holi. Often called the festival of colors, or the festival of love, Holi is considered as one of the most revered of festivals in India. It is a time to unite together and honor the victory of good vs evil, the arrival of spring, repairing and forgiving broken relationships and a day to have fun with friends.
This year on campus, our Upper School dance class will be performing an Indian dance, and we will decorate our campus with Rangoli, a colorful Hindu art form. Our students will reflect on how they can overcome differences in their own lives and create more unity and connection with all people.
