Education & Achievements
Kimberly fell in love with education at an early age, even asking her second grade teacher if she and her best friend could start an lunchtime book club to discuss Little House on the Prairie and The Odyssey. She went on to a successful career as a social entrepreneur and brand and business development consultant. The common thread through all of her work has been a commitment to propelling mission-driven companies and organizations, which was how being an SD parent led to her work for the School. She has a proven track record that shows how dreams can come true and how people from different backgrounds and parts of the world can come together to build a global movement. While building and selling her last company she learned, among other lessons, the power of determination and grace, following one’s gut, and speaking from the heart. She believes that stewardship of the environment is key to our ultimate success and happiness.
Kimberly honed her communication and PR skills through grassroots drive and determination, garnering top tier traditional and new media coverage (The New York Times cover, InStyle, Town & Country, Redbook, 20/20, the TODAY Show etc.). She has also led several national crisis and situation management situations so as to avoid and/or minimize media coverage.
Kimberly has played a key role in ideation and execution of campaigns that touched millions of people such as "Fall Into Fall" for Walmart, "Be EcoChic" for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and "Just Label It" for Stonyfield. She has authored one book, written for magazines and websites, and been a keynote speaker at conferences including the 3% Conference, Natural Products Expos West and East, the World Women’s Forum in Seoul Korea, and the Marketing to Moms Conference in Toronto. Kimberly resides in California with her husband and son. She graduated from UCLA and University of Hawaii with a degree in psychology and dance.
"My favorite part of being a member of the San Domenico community is witnessing the amazing things that happen every single day among our students, coaches, and teachers. Seeing, hearing, and learning from them fills my heart with hope and inspiration."
