Dear San Domenico Families,

Each year the San Domenico Board of Trustees and Administration work together to set a budget that supports the exceptional breadth and mission of our program. After much thoughtful research and consideration, we are pleased to share that next year’s operating plan was approved at our December 11, 2017 Board meeting, including setting the tuition rates for the 2018-19 school year.

We are proud of the progress our community has made over the past three years:

• Through the combination of philanthropy and tuition, we continue to make significant investment in the academic and extracurricular opportunities available to our students.
• We continue to make progress on our multi-year plan to bring teacher compensation in line with other top independent schools and our teachers have expressed appreciation for the strides we have made in increasing their salaries thus far.
• We know from benchmarking alongside peer schools that San Domenico continues to offer a great value in its tuition, including food and transportation, for which many of our peer schools charge separately.
• San Domenico’s exceptional faculty, campus, and program continue to strengthen with new teacher hires, facilities improvements, and expanded offerings in science, technology, theatre, dance, music, service, electives, and digital and visual arts.

We understand that a high quality education is a significant investment and we thank you for the commitment you make on behalf of your children. Below you will find the tuition and fees for the 2018-19 academic year; the increase of 5% is within the standard annual range of tuition increases for independent schools and will allow us to continue to make progress on program enhancements and faculty compensation.
