Welcome to San Domenico’s Community Center and Aquatic Complex Webpage!
San Domenico has begun construction of a new Aquatic Complex that will provide best-in-class facilities for swimming and water polo competition, physical education, conditioning, and wellness for our K-12 program. The new facility will include a 4,300 square foot pool deck, spectator seating, showers and locker rooms. Phase I construction is expected to last about seven months. The new competition pool has been designed by Aquatic Design Group, one of the top aquatics architectural firms in California who designed competition pools for UC Berkeley and Stanford University.
Phase II of the project will be the completion of a new 2,000 square foot Community Center providing flexible teaching, meeting, and community gathering space on the west side of campus for the first time. The complex has been named for Sister Gervaise Valpey, a beloved and influential figure in the San Domenico community.
Please check back with this site for periodic updates on project progress. For more information about how you can become involved, please contact Anna Heidinger, Director of Advancement at firstname.lastname@example.org.
"This facility will usher in a new era of aquatics for San Domenico. To have a state-of-the-art pool to train students K-12, for strength and conditioning across all sports, and from development to competitive, college-bound JV and Varsity players, is really a game changer for the School and our athletic program.
- Mark Anderson, Director of Aquatics
