What’s life like at SD?
Friendships come easily at SD. From our caring residential staff to our welcoming boarding and day students, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Orientation trips at the start of the year help you bond with classmates and form connections that can last a lifetime. Soon, new friends will invite you to join clubs and activities, deepening your ties to the SD community. In turn, you’ll have the joy of sharing your own unique talents—whether athletic, artistic, or academic—with classmates and teachers alike.
At San Domenico, you will safely learn independence and resilience in a supportive and nurturing environment. Should SD’s top-ranked academic classes challenge you, your SD mentor, teachers, academic guidance counselors, and the International Scholars team will be there to guide and support you every step of the way. Beyond the classroom, our dorm prefects, residential faculty, and school counselors are always available to talk—whether you’re missing home, navigating new experiences, or simply wanting to share your culture, cuisine, and perspective.
