News & Events—What's happening in the San Domenico Lower School?
Tragically, we find ourselves in a position to talk to our kids about mass shootings regularly. Some of the shooters' motivations aren't entirely clear, and sometimes—like the ones of the shooter in New Zealand—they are expressly stated in written and recorded messages of hate.
We are thrilled to share the launch of our first K-12 collaboration to support literacy equality in Marin! During the week of April 1-5, San Domenico will be hosting a series of coordinated events to provide access and funds for books for students at Hamilton School.
Remember when your kid was little, and trying to get them to sleep enough—or at all—was a huge focus? As kids get older, we sometimes lose sight of how important sleep is for both physical and mental well-being.
Part of our commitment to providing exceptional education and a sense of purpose means that even our youngest students are given the opportunity to begin grappling with some of life's biggest questions.
Our Second Graders had a special group of instructors giving them a science lesson recently - our SD Seniors!
SD's Fourth Grade teacher Miss. Errickson was selected to present at the 2019 National Association of Independent School's Conference.
