Young scientists can ask questions, investigate, and create to learn more about the world around them during Summer Science. Each day, we'll investigate a different theme like magnetism, matter, or gravity and tinker around with materials and activities to explore that theme.
Amy McIntosh teaches science to grades 1-4 and sustainability to grades K-12. She graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland and learned about California's ecosystems at San Mateo Outdoor Education. After earning a Multiple Subjects teaching credential, she taught in multi-age classrooms and ran a mobile science program through the Children's Museum of Sonoma County. Amy is thrilled to teach science to young students and work with students in the Garden of Hope at San Domenico School. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and traveling.
