Weekly Reflection September 26, 2022

Happy New Year! This week is the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Our reflection comes from the Jewish writer and Holocaust survivor, Elie Wiesel:

There is divine beauty in learning. To learn means to accept that life did not begin at my birth. Others have been here before me, and I walk in their footsteps. The books I have read were composed by generations of fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, teachers and disciples. I am the result of their experiences, their quests. And so are you.
May I share with you one of the principles that governs my life? It is the realization that what I receive I must pass on to others. Isn't this what education is all about?

Have a wonderful week!

With love,
