PANTHER SPOTLIGHT: Men’s Soccer Concludes Historic Season
The Men's Soccer Team with Coach Tristan Bowen

The men's soccer team qualified for the NCS Playoff for the first time in school history as the #9 seed. They played the #8 seeded team, Justin-Siena, in Napa on Wednesday, February 16, and lost 3-0.

Unfortunately, this brings an end to a historic season. Despite the loss, everyone is proud of how much this group has progressed in a short period. They improved in all categories by winning more games, scoring more goals, and conceding less. Coach T provided his perspective about the season.

"The success we achieved this season is attributed to everyone buying in, working hard, and dedicating themselves to the process. We exceeded expectations, accomplished our goals, and progressed through the forming and norming phase of team development. We now have a foundation and a healthy team culture conducive to player development.

As a coach, it's been heartwarming to watch them grow. While I'm proud of what we accomplished on the field, I must say that it pales in comparison to seeing them develop into more well-rounded young men. They basked in the joy of our highs and stuck together during our lows. And that, for me, is the most important takeaway from this season. I’m optimistic about the program’s direction and look forward to next season."
