The Marin IJ has named Joaquin Foster as a Prep of the Week.

Foster set numerous records over the past 10 days, starting with a school record in the 800 meters at the Dublin Distance Fiesta on March 18. Foster passed a pair of runners over the final 60 meters and posted a time of 1 minutes, 59.24 seconds. Foster followed that up with another school record in the 400 during the BCL League Meet at Kezar Stadium on Saturday. Foster added a personal-best time of 4:39 in the 1,600 at the same meet.
