The Marin IJ has named Carly Amborn as a Prep of the Week.

The former Archie Williams standout is adjusting to life in the Bay Counties League West just fine. Amborn, who entered the BCL West singles tournament as the top seed, took down No. 2 Kota Salinas of San Francisco Waldorf in the final. Amborn trailed by four games in the first set before storming back for a 7-6 (0), 6-4 victory. Coach Robert Jessen said Amborn’s singles championship is the first one won by a San Domenico player during his 11-year tenure.
