Dorm News: End of Year in Sight
Sunset Hike

We’ve had a busy two weeks of AP exams, which are thankfully coming to a close. Our students felt well-prepared for their exams and especially appreciated the special treats contributed by teachers and administrators. As we look forward to upcoming end-of-year events, it is time to begin to consider our preparations for summer departure. We encourage local boarders to begin to take clothing and other items home that are no longer needed. We will have bins available for donations for all of our students, to help lighten their packing load and streamline their belongings.

This weekend our Badminton Team plays their final match. We’re proud of all of our players and how well they’ve done this season! Congratulations to Coach Julie and the team. The Churchills are offering a “Farewell to Seniors Sunset Burrito Hike” on Sunday, going up to Loma Alta for a view of the sunset: “Say Goodbye to our Seniors, Hike Loma Alta one more time, Bring your friends, Day and Boarding students, Faculty and children - please join us!! Bring a bag for your burrito, headlamp, and water bottle. Also bring all of your favorite SD stories!” Departure is at 6:30 from the solar panels. Contact machurchill@sandomenico.org for burrito orders. Thank you to Mark and Mary Churchill for all of the wonderful hiking opportunities they have provided this year!

On Monday we have our Virtuoso Program’s Spring Chamber Music Concert at 7:00 pm in The Hall of the Arts.  “As we enter our final set of Virtuoso Program performances, this is one you will not want to miss! Featuring works by Grieg, Shostakovich, Mendelssohn, Schubert, and more, these challenging works for small ensemble are some of our students' favorite pieces to perform. Attendance is complimentary, so reserve your ticket now!”
