Ada Wang ’16 attended her first SD Alumni Gathering in D.C. together with her SD Big Sister Yi Ning Wong ’14.  “Attending the alumni event was truly fantastic. When I was first invited, I was nervous to attend because I thought I wouldn’t know anyone. But my Big Sister and I went together. Everyone was so warm and friendly. I discovered that the host Hoonae Kim ’75 also went to George Washington undergrad, so we had even more in common. I would encourage everyone to go to the next alumni gathering!”

After graduating from San Domenico in 2016, Ada attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. majoring in psychology and minoring in criminal justice. She currently attends GW Law and is slated to graduate in 2024. “I absolutely love law school. I really enjoy the intellectual challenge that I get every single day from classes and the internships that I'm doing right now. I have had great mentors, both professors and advisors, who are very supportive of me.” During COVID, she took an intentional year off and spent it back home in China, awaiting her law school acceptance and working for the World Wildlife Fund on several of their diversity projects.
