Bravo to our amazing performers!
This week grades 3-5 welcomed family and friends to the annual Lower School Arts in Action performance, one of our favorite events of the year. This year’s theme was “All My Favorite Colors,” with every member of all three grades closing out the show as the Lower School Supergroup, performing the song “Colors” by the Black Pumas.
Before the show, visitors enjoyed a welcome reception in the Hall of the Arts gallery, where they enjoyed snacks while taking in the visual art on display as part of the annual Lower School Art Exhibition. The audience then took their seats before being treated to a variety of wonderful performances by our young performing artists.
We want to give thanks to Steve Pierce for his vision and leadership for this creative show where all children are highlighted and get to show their skills.
A huge thank you to Susan Turner for her keen artistic eye and her inspiring hard work organizing the beautiful gallery show. Susan is especially grateful for the volunteers who helped to mount the artwork and install the show, to Shari Byrnes, and for Epicurean’s delicious cookies!
Thank you to all the third, fourth, and fifth grade classroom teachers for their support and enthusiasm in this endeavor.
A special thank you to Hannah Ozeran for her excellent tech help!
We are especially grateful to our third, fourth, and fifth grade students who worked hard and poured their hearts into this beautiful production!
