The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence selected the film, One Love, by alumna Edie Paczkowski '20 to feature in a screening and Q&A on February 16 and 23.
The film explores the story of a young survivor of an unhealthy relationship. Youth on the film read the survivor’s story aloud to a camera in order to demonstrate how one person’s experience can have an impact that is relatable to all. The readers’ responses to the questions are meant to illuminate how common and heartbreaking this issue can be while examining their own experiences with relationship violence.
The screening will be followed by a a Q&A with this young filmmaker and social activist.
