#FacesOfSD - Tracy Froehlich

In order to share more of our amazing community here at SD, we offer this weekly #FacesOfSD to give you a chance to learn more about our faculty and staff. Today we are thrilled to introduce Tracy Froehlich, Director of Human Resources.

Tracy has enjoyed over 20 years in the Human Resources field working with legal compliance, policy and organizational development, workforce planning/development, vendor contract negotiation, complaint resolution, worker’s comp, benefits, employee/management relations and staffing/recruiting.  Her past positions were at a Tech company, law firm and expert witness consulting business prior to joining San Domenico School.

Her favorite part of the job is ‘the people part.’ She is happy if she can be a resource to everyone, especially since she sometimes has to deal with employees’ difficult situations.

In her spare time, she enjoys pilates, walking, hiking and running and tries to do something ‘that scares her a little’ each year.

Here Tracy answers our Spotlight questions:

Q. Full name?

A. Tracy Lynn Froehlich

Q. Where were you born?

A. Greenbrae, CA (but grew up in Lucas Valley).

Q. Favorite word?

A. Hello! It's usually always followed by a smile.

Q.What do you do here at San Domenico? And what is your favorite part of your job?

A. Director of Human Resource, interacting with people, and helping solving problems where I can.

Q. Which Dominican value inspires you the most this week and why? (Study, Reflection, Community, or Service)

A. Service - I try to take care of all my employees so they can focus on their jobs.

Q.What is your ideal weekend?

A. Quiet alone time with coffee, hanging out with friends and family, not having to make dinner and no email! (This is a fantasy, right?)

Tracy, from your welcoming attitude, to your smile, and your sharing of wisdom and expertise, we are so grateful for you. Thank you for all you do to support the San Domenico team and community!
