Students in Wynn Richards “Issues in American Democracy” elective class produced 16 thought-provoking current event episodes.

This last weekend was all about getting into the holiday spirit. We baked and decorated cookies, made gingerbread houses, enjoyed barbecues with Santa Churchill, made strings of popcorn and cranberries for our beautiful tree in Mercedes, watched Christmas movies, and drank endless cups of hot cider.
Under the direction of Jennifer Grimes, Upper School students achieved a truly remarkable feat staging a virtual play - live!

It's the Holiday Season and we are feeling it in the dorms! With our beautiful holiday-trimmed tree in Mercedes, menorah on the table, lights hanging outside, a chill in the air, and lots of fun plans for the weekend, we're experiencing many of the joys of the season.

The holidays represent a special time in our lives. Many of our students miss celebrating holidays like Lunar New Year with their families and friends, or birthdays, Christmas, Hanukkah, and any of the many holidays our students celebrate. While nothing can ever take the place of the familiar and rich traditions we are accustomed to, we do make an effort in the dorms to acknowledge and celebrate birthdays and holidays, creating our own traditions together.
