Biography
Ximena Bervejillo was born and raised in Uruguay, to a very large family of art and music lovers. She has been teaching foreign languages since 1993, when she started teaching German in private and public schools in Montevideo, Uruguay. In 2002 Ximena moved to Marin with her whole family, to start teaching at a Waldorf school in San Rafael. After teaching first through eighth grade there for 8 years, she went on to start the Spanish program at Brandeis Marin, where she taught middle school for 3 years. After that, Ximena joined the San Domenico community. She loves teaching Lower School, and brings a lot of enthusiasm and passion to her classes, combining language teaching with music and dance. Outside of work, Ximena enjoys singing, playing the guitar, hiking, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.
“My favorite part of being a member of the San Domenico Community is the community feeling, the professional support, and the team work.”
