San Domenico has once again been invited by Harvard Graduate School of Education to participate in their Making Caring Common (MCC) project. MCC helps educators, parents, and communities raise children who are caring, responsible to their communities, and committed to justice.
This November our students and teachers will be contributing to the Harvard Project by participating in the Making Caring Common Survey. The survey for students in grades 6 through 12 asks about a range of topics, including: students’ experiences with day-to-day conflicts, their sense of being supported at school, and how important “caring” is to them as a young person. This survey is unique in that it asks students to think about others’ perspectives, such as that of an individual with a disability, or a recent immigrant to this country. The surveys will be completely anonymous, it is optional for students, and will take about 30 minutes to complete.
We are excited to work with Harvard Graduate School of Education on this project and to contribute to a more caring and responsible community. For more information about the Making Caring Common project, please see the MCC website.
