San Domenico technology and student 1-to-1 iPad program
San Domenico School utilizes technology in its curriculum and operations as part of its Mission’s commitment “...to excellence in education, preparing the next generation of global leaders.” The School’s vision for technology in the curriculum guides its technology and curriculum planning:
"We utilize technology to enhance student learning, cultivate digital citizenship, and foster digital literacy across the curriculum."
From the Lower School’s well regarded technology curriculum to the Upper School’s creative foundation of technology skills, San Domenico School has been purposeful about technology in the classroom for many years.
In 2013-14 San Domenico School expanded its integrated technology program by growing its innovative 1:1 iPad program in grades 3-12. iPads are also integrated into K-2 instruction. Desktop computers, laptop carts, and integrated wireless audio/visual resources are also available throughout K-12 classrooms, library, and dorms. Read School Ties article (Download pdf)
