Biography

Michael Berry has taught science in public and private schools for the last 15 years. He joined San Domenico in 2015 to teach physics and engineering. He brings with him a passion for the curriculum and for experiential learning. He hails from Philadelphia and started his education there at Temple University, where he earned a B.A. in Philosophy. He moved to the West Coast to “live deliberately” and earned his teaching credential and a master’s degree in Education from San Francisco State University. Michael has taught a wide array of courses from physics to astronomy to engineering. He is an avid outdoorsman, and you can often find him hiking the hills of Marin, “SUPping” waterways, or photographing soaring raptors. Michael lives in Marin County with his wife, two children, and a dog.

“My favorite part of being a member of the San Domenico community is being a part of a caring and supportive community, who help each other grow and become better thinkers and people.”
